"Attitude ......"

Sometimes it's hard not to let the actions/behaviors of others affect you. I was feeling particularly baffled yesterday. But that was my attitude that made me disturbed. The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on my life.
Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it.

I know there is a huge difference in saying and practicing them but I know one more thing that this attitude will come only by acquiring it as a habit. We should make it a habit to practice looking for the good in seemingly bad events. You'll be amazed how often something you thought was bad actually turns out to be good.Just keep reminding yourself that you don't know how a certain situation will turn out in the end. It may turn out to be the best thing that ever happened to you!

What we are looking for in life? At the end the answer leads to what we call happiness. And apparently sometimes we can be quite amazed on how happiness can be achieved by doing only simple things!

One thing I invariably practiced those everyday prayers which I do when I go for sleep. Now I strongly believe that if I am praying/asking for something to GOD then emphatically I am going to have that. My faith is getting firmer day by day that some “Power” is always there to heed me. These prayers feed me strength that some supportive thing is always on me. Yesterday I was reading one blog, of my friend. His concern was on “Whatever happens, happens for good” and I shared my views go on -

“Well said, even I strongly consider this fact. Anything that happens to me is good. Whether good or bad, it is always good. Life moves on and our belief gets stronger, ”whatever happens in life, happens for good”. It’s just that we could not feel the goodness earlier. At times like these, we tell ourselves that everything that happens to us, good, bad or worse, is planned. God always knew it would happen to us and he always knew the reasons too. It’s just that we have come to know the reasons now……”

Everyone knows everything. It just that how many of us realizing or understanding those facts and driving ourselves to taking forward their attitude in a right direction.

A start to a start :)

Start... Begin... words that give space and power for some thing new to occur... words that let you embark on a new journey... words that lead you through a new discovery...But some how I find it is not that easy to start... wonder many a times if some thing could help me, give a start to my start... :)The spirit within is ready to fly, learn new things, explore a lot more and try... but this momentary numbness at every start... how I wish I could get rid of it ... that every start was easy... like a click or a flick of fingers... but not always it is... takes a lot to go beyond my own thoughts that push and restrain at the same time...Well standing numb for long will not help either …so I dare today to give a start to this start...
